Episode 100// A Conversation About Yoga

Mom & Baby Yoga

Hello great loves,

I am so happy to share Episode 100 of the Sunrose Yoga Podcast with you. Today, I just talk. I just answer questions and share my thoughts on the practice. This conversation was a long time in the making. This week, I celebrated 17 years of practice, which lends a certain sensibility to the conversation. I’ve been thinking a lot about what I’ve learned in those 17 years. The challenge then becomes not taking on too much– just talking about what is important right now and not necessarily all of the loops and curves that lead to this point. Also, this conversation was a long time in the making because everyone at my house has been really ill. The first time I tried to record, my voice was too gravelly, then I physically couldn’t talk at all. We are well again, though, and reveling in the post-sick wellness feelings.

On with the show.

Thank you, as always, for being here.

Thank you for showing up to your practice, day after day, year after year. I am grateful for you and for your fellowship.

  1. Congrats on your 100th episode!!!!!!!!
Excited to hear about your meditation and chair classes! Wish I lived closer so I could attend the meditation classes! Happy to hear that you are almost done with your book. It must feel good! 🙂 What exactly is your book about? …Or would you prefer we wait to find out? You have a way with words, so I am sure it will be an enjoyable book!
Hearing that you aren’t sure when one is ready for teaching and the various experiences you’ve had over the years makes me feel a little better about my setbacks in teacher training. Thank you for sharing!
Hearing about your life as an attorney feeling exhausted resonates with me because I have been sick frequently and very exhausted and feel a little lost at times. But as is all things in life, balance will come and go. I will find my balance again soon! Thank you for another cheerful broadcast! 🙂

    1. Thank you so much! This work has been a true labor of love.
I am so glad to hear that some of the words & stories I shared rang true to you. There is this moment of trust between sharing and the response that is pure. vulnerability. And then I am always glad I shared. ❤
The book is a combination or alchemy of work that has been overflowing for the past bit, and although I have an idea for its life, I still will have to do a bit of waiting to see how it all sorts out. Mystery!
      Much love!
      And gratitude!
